Financial Transparency
Donors deserve to know exactly who they are giving to. Here is the paperwork behind the Club.
Who we are
Friday Morning Club is a nonprofit public benefit corporation incorporated in the State of California and recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Employer Identification Number (EIN): 35-2897495
- Tax status: 501(c)(3) public charity. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
- Location: Los Angeles, California
Governance
The Club is governed by a volunteer board of directors. We maintain a board-adopted conflict of interest policy, and directors serve without compensation.
Public disclosure documents
As a 501(c)(3), we make the following available upon request, as required by federal law:
- Our application for tax exemption (IRS Form 1023 series) and the IRS determination letter recognizing our exempt status.
- Our annual information returns (IRS Form 990 series) for the three most recent years available. As a recently formed organization, we will post and provide each return as it is filed.
To request copies, email boardchair@fridaymorning.org with the subject "Public Disclosure Request." We respond promptly and without charge for electronic copies.
How gifts are used
Gifts fund the Club's programming and the free business, admin, and growth support we provide to arts, education, and community nonprofits. Donations are processed by Stripe; receipts are issued automatically for every gift. Our privacy policy covers how donor information is handled, including our commitment never to sell, trade, or share our donor list.
