Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE JULY 14, 2026
Friday Morning Club ("FMC," "we," "us") is a Los Angeles based nonprofit organization, tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 35-2897495. This policy describes what information we collect through fridaymorning.org, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain on purpose.
What we collect
- Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message.
- Donation information. Donations are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing information, and payment card details on its own secure pages. We never see or store your full card number. We receive from Stripe the information needed to record and receipt your gift, such as your name, email address, and gift amount.
- Technical basics. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to operate and secure the site.
We do not run advertising trackers or analytics profiles, and this site does not set cookies of its own. Stripe may use cookies on its checkout pages to process payments securely and prevent fraud.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for.
- To respond to your messages.
- To process donations, send tax receipts, and keep the records the IRS requires us to keep.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that make the site work: Stripe (payment processing) and Netlify (website hosting and form handling). Each processes your information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
Donor privacy
We respect the relationship a gift creates. We will not sell, trade, rent, or share our donor list with any other organization. Donor information is used solely to process gifts, send receipts, and communicate with you about the Club. You may give anonymously with respect to public recognition, and you may ask us at any time to stop contacting you.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Every newsletter includes a way out, or you can just ask us.
- Access, correction, deletion. Email us and we will tell you what we have, fix what is wrong, or delete what we hold, subject to records we are legally required to keep (such as donation records).
To exercise any of these choices, write to boardchair@fridaymorning.org.
Do Not Track
We do not track visitors across third-party websites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to turn off. The site does not respond to such signals because it does not track you in the first place.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted plainly at the top.
