Accessibility

A salon only works if everyone can get in the room. Friday Morning Club wants fridaymorning.org to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

• Semantic HTML with proper landmarks, headings, and labels, so screen readers can navigate the site sensibly.
• A skip-to-content link on every page and full keyboard operability with visible focus states.
• Text and background color combinations chosen for contrast, with text that scales with your browser settings.
• Reduced-motion support: if your device asks for less animation, the site obliges.
• Alt text for meaningful images and decorative elements hidden from assistive technology.

Known limitations

Donations are completed on Stripe's checkout pages, which are governed by Stripe's own accessibility practices. If any part of the giving process gives you trouble, contact us and we will take your gift another way.
